On a bright sunny afternoon in June, over 60 members of the "Squires" extended family, arrived at the village hall in Eathorpe, Warwickshire.

No-one had met everyone who was present before, so that was a bonus: introducing new members of the family.

There were displays to be read and photograph galleries to be viewed. It was also a time to catch up with the family gossip.

Refreshments were provided and our particular thanks go to David who brought those delicious cakes.

Several people have asked for follow up visits which we shall arrange over the next few months. We shall also be visiting those who were not able to come on the day.

Thank you to everyone who came and made it such a success and a special thank you to those who helped on the day.

Will there be another gathering? Probably!

When will it be? It is likely to be 2015!!
